Novelis  (Class A Office)

In 2005, I negotiated a 5 year lease with Novelis (formerly known as Alcan Automotive) in Cabot North Technology Centre, one of our single story flex buildings.  The corporate driven design for this 4,540 s.f. office space was stultifying, yet because of our proactive facilities management style, Novelis remained a happy tenant for five years.  We renewed the lease in 2010.  Alcan was then purchased by the Aditya Birla Group of India, and proceeded to expand exponentially.  After winning the Ford F-150 contract for the new aluminum body, they decided that an upgrade to their image was imperative. 

We designed a 23,000 s.f. space and relocated Novelis to a multi-story building with prominent building signage.  In addition to leasing the space, I was also the project manager on the design and build-out. Their new space makes an incredible impact with a modern, sleek look,  a tremendous window line, linear LED lighting, bright paint colors, informal gathering areas and the ability to bring in a full-sized aluminum truck body for display.
