The following summarizes my career in Mortgage Banking. I have experience in underwriting and financing all property types. Our CMBS platform was nationwide and I closed loans in 20 different states. The majority of my production was in Michigan, California and Florida. To succeed in Mortgage Banking, I learned about a variety of property types and quickly grasped the market nuances and the risks of the potential investment. Lending is extremely competitive, and ultimately one must sell more than just attractive interest rates. My strength was in the creative structuring of deals to fit the needs of both investor and lender. I successfully developed long term relationships with many clients, and became more a financial consultant to them rather than just a money man. One of the clients who entrusted me with their financing was Northern Equities Group.
